Joined AMIC’s Board of Directors in 2012 as an Independent Board member. Neveen has 33 years of financial & business experience. CEO of Delta Shield, an organization she founded after the Egyptian 2011 revolution focusing on youth and entrepreneurship.
She is the country representative of Royal Bank of Scotland and sits on their Middle East Advisory Board. Sat on several private & public-sector boards, e.g. Banque Misr, GAFI, Telecom Egypt, Egyptian Railway Projects & Transport Co., Egyptian Stock Exchange, Egypt Information Dissemination Company ”EGID”, Misr Capital Investments and Upper Egypt Leasing Company “UELease”.
She is currently setting on the Board of the Egyptian American Enterprise Fund, the Egyptian Company for Mobile Services (ECMS) Mobinil, Cairo Oil & Soap and Regina for Pasta & Food Industries.
Commenced her career in 1980 as corporate banker with Chase Manhattan Bank’s JV. With the revival of the Egyptian Capital Market established Delta EAB Brokerage 1994, ABN AMRO Delta Asset Management 1997, Delta Financial Investments 2007, Nuun Fund Services 2008 and Upper Egypt Leasing 2009, all of which were either fully or partially divested by 2011.
The first woman to sit on the board of the Egyptian Stock Exchange and twice named by the Financial Times as one of the leading businesswomen in the Arab World. Won local awards for her contribution to Egypt’s investment environment and Internationally for her economic empowerment of women. She is also involved with numerous nonprofit & professional associations such as Endeavor Egypt, Cartier Women’s Initiative Award, and Goldman Sachs 10,000 Women, MIT Pan Arab competitions, whilst sitting on the boards of both Injaz Egypt, Ahead of the Curve, WPO and CEO.
Graduated from faculty of Economics & Political science, Cairo University and is an alumna of both London Business School and Harvard Business School.
